Marketing Research Intern


Description: Come intern with us! The Dieringer Research Group, Inc. (The DRG), a 40+ year leader in the marketing research field providing qualitative and quantitative services, is excited to offer an internship opportunity for a Marketing Research Intern for Summer 2019. We have a great group of curious, creative, hard-working people here ready to welcome you to the team.


During your time, you will shadow and learn from experienced team members on specific tasks such as:

  • Formatting/reviewing questionnaires and other internal and client documents
  • Performing data quality checks during the data collection phase of projects
  • Preparing materials for managing qualitative projects such as trackers, incentives, and printed materials
  • Working with project teams to ensure projects run smoothly and are of the highest quality
  • Assisting/shadowing in other departments to learn more about our company
  • Meeting with members of our senior management team
  • Attending/participating in The DRG’s community service and social events

You will also have the opportunity to work independently on key assignments so you can gain a deeper understanding of the marketing research industry, including:

  • Completing a client’s survey project using existing processes
  • Performing secondary research and preparing a report summarizing the findings
  • Transcribing project interviews and focus group recordings

Educational Requirements:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (junior or senior standing) in Business, Marketing, and/or Social Sciences

Experience Requirements:

  • No experience required

  • Microsoft Office skills; creativity with PowerPoint a plus
  • Approved background check

Hours: 20 – 40 hours per week
