Marketing Intern

 

Description:

Come intern with us! The Dieringer Research Group, Inc. (The DRG), a 40+ year leader in the marketing research field providing qualitative and quantitative services, is excited to offer an internship opportunity for a Marketing Intern for Summer 2020. We have a great group of curious, creative, hard-working people here ready to welcome you to the team.

Responsibilities:

During your time, you will shadow and learn from experienced team members and will gain experience by:

  • Researching and preparing a case study on a research project
    • Reviewing reports and interviewing project team members
    • Writing the case study
    • Drafting the corresponding video for our website
  • Supporting our graphic design needs
  • Supporting internal communications activities
  • Supporting our social media plan through research and social post development
  • Assisting with reviewing and updating blog content
  • Other Responsibilities will include:
    • Assisting with competitor research and marketing campaign efforts

You will also have the opportunity to gain experience outside of the marketing department so you can get a deeper understanding of marketing research and The DRG, including:

  • Assisting/shadowing in other departments to learn more about our company
  • Meeting with members of our senior management team
  • Attending/participating in The DRG’s community service and social events

Educational Requirements:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (junior standing) in Business, Marketing, and/or Communications

Experience Requirements:

  • No experience required

Desired Skills:

  • High attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • Ability to design visually appealing content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and are creative and solution-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and take direction in a fast-paced, team environment

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; creativity with PowerPoint a plus
  • Approved background check
