Marketing Communications Coordinator

 

Description:

The Marketing Communications Coordinator is responsible for creating engaging and effective communications that support The DRG’s goals. This position will develop and optimize communications across specific verticals and target audiences in alignment with The DRG’s account-based marketing strategy. They will collaborate with subject matter experts across the organization to co-create communications and work with the marketing team to assess performance and opportunities for improvement. It is an option for the position to be full-time remote/work-from-home. 

Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit marketing assets including eBooks, landing pages, emails, whitepapers, webinar presentations, etc.
  • Develop communications for the company website and blog
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to drive new content ideas and create thought leadership pieces
  • Transform technical concepts into engaging content
  • Support the development and execution of the communications strategy based on strategic goals, business needs, and product/service launches
  • Create and manage communications and campaign calendars

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, or Communications, or equivalent experience

Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years of marketing writing experience in a business setting (preferred)
  • Experience creating content for B2B audiences
  • Preference given to candidates with industry vertical or marketing research experience

Qualifications:

  • Must have a clear, confident, and compelling writing style
  • Ability to establish trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight
  • Good attention to detail with strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
