As a Business Development Support Specialist, excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership are top priority. In this position, you will support the Business Development team by completing sales-related duties including updating and maintaining information in the company’s CRM system and preparing documentation for bi-weekly sales meetings. You will also manage activities associated with the proposal development process. (This position will not involve client contact/cold calling/lead generation.) Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities and sales
  • Prepare budgets for all activated projects
  • Coordinate with external partners to obtain cost and feasibility estimates
  • Manage activities, as assigned by Account Managers, associated with proposal development
  • Help to maintain Diverse Supplier registrations

Educational Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree; preferred, but not required, majors include Business, Marketing and/or Social Science

Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience providing high level administrative support to sales professionals and/or executives

Desired Skills:

  • Required: Microsoft Office
  • Preferred: Acumatica or other CRM system

Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize and balance competing demands, meet deadlines, and manage the expectations of various stakeholders
  • Ability to both take initiative and work independently, as well as the ability to work effectively in a professional, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to effectively navigate and problem solve in a SaaS environment
  • A focus on quality and strong attention to detail

Hours: Part-time (up to 30 hours per week) or full-time
